Good Bones host Karen created this hydroponic planter using 5" PVC post covers to contain the nutrient-rich growing solution. A 4" hole-saw was used to cut holes in the container for the plants to extend through, and the front is covered with hex tiles left over from the new bathroom. Plants include bibb lettuce, red-leaf lettuce, basil, mint and tarragon.
Gray tile placed in a vertical pattern echo the wood grains in the door and floating vanity in this master bathroom. The color and pattern of the tile also mimic concrete walls seen in other parts of the home.
The gorgeous gray tile in this bathroom space lends itself to the modern design of the room, keeping it looking clean and light. The recessed lighting in the shower highlights the space and helps to make it warm and inviting.
Mosaic tile creates a contrasting grid pattern for a striking floor in this Art Deco bathroom. Marble tiles are used on the walls for sophisticated, monochromatic look, while white sinks keep the space light and airy. Metallics, from the brass light fixtures and mirrors to the gold faucets and plumbing, bring an updated vintage feel to the space.
