As seen on Love It or List It, Too, designer Jillian Harris designed an open and modern kitchen for homeowners Emily and Gary, with new cabinetry and applicances. The white cabinets and clear glass doors keep the space feeling open and light.
The addition of glass cabinetry on either side of the existing small window provides the illusion of a larger window with a better flow of light. Beautiful soapstone countertops and state-of-the-art appliances embellish this kitchen with a timeless ambiance filled with modern conveniences.
“Designed for wine lovers who enjoy entertaining often, this wet bar was installed in the dining room where they host dinner parties, holiday meals and entertain most of the time,” says designer Nathan J. Reynolds. “Next to the kitchen, it’s a convenient place for additional counter space for mixing drinks, plating desserts, or serving coffee and after-dinner drinks.” The design includes a Kohler sink, Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer drawers, and a Sub-Zero wine refrigerator. “Glass cabinets above the wet bar distinguish it from the rest of the workspace and showcase handsome glassware and collectibles,” he adds.

Jennifer Gilmer Kitchen & Bath transformed the entire side wall of the old mudroom into pantry storage with pullouts. The back wall resembles an elegant credenza, but also serves to provide valuable storage. The effect was lighter and larger.
