The concept for this kitchen was function with LOTS of storage. By creating floor to ceiling cabinets the storage was maximized. One of the ways to have easy access to elements inside the cabinets was to create full panel drawers inside the island. The white quartz island is a continuation of the white canvas used for the floor and a vanilla onyx with back lighting to accent on the island. The stainless steel flush appliances give the space a sophisticated look.
A built-in nightstand backed by decorative beadboard provides stylish, functional storage in this transitional kid's bedroom. An upholstered headboard with two rows of nailhead trim is custom-built to fit the space, and reading lights above are a practical addition. Dinosaur-printed bedding, acid green pillows and a matching chevron rug add kid-friendly flair.
The home office space needed to have plenty of storage and function, so designers added a lacquer and stained oak custom built-in unit with open shelving, cabinets and drawers, as well as a usable workspace for the desktop computer. When the computer is not in use, the free-standing desk provides another work space. To warm up the space and create a contrast from the monochromatic colors, designers brought in a brown, swivel, office chair for a comfy place to sit.
Before Anthony and John got a hold of this space, it lacked storage and a cohesive design, so the Kitchen Cousins have added rows of cabinets to help with storage and elegant details, such as the newly painted door and built in spice rack, to create a functional, pleasing design. This laundry room is both stylish and functional. The front loading machines allow for a folding station to be built on top of them, giving the homeowner plenty of useful space, while simple, green cabinets offer plenty of storage. Between the cabinets and the folding station, green patterned wallpaper has been added to give texture to the space, while the blue laundry basket adds a pop of stylish color.
