At the rear of the restaurant, a large mirror hangs above the bench that extends across the back wall of the restaurant. This way, anyone who is seated with their back to the bar can still see what is happening behind them.
Below the door handles to Cevicheria, there are fish stamped into the door, while above the handle, birds are flying. This helps to create the beach ambiance that is carried inside the restaurant. However, the stamps in the metal create intrigue for passersby when they glance in and see an octopus suspended from the ceiling, making the doors more than just a pretty decoration.
The colors and textures in this space create an ocean ambiance. The bright blues of the floor tiles play off the white walls and bar, creating the illusion of sand and sea, while the metal doors with shapes of birds and fish stamped into them allow in plenty of light, giving customers the feeling of being at the beach.
The elements of this restaurant perfectly blend together to make customers feel as if they are spending the day at the beach. The blue and white mosaic tile floor bring out the vibrant blue of the ocean, which reflects off the white walls and white marble bar, creating the illusion of sand and sea. Natural light pours into the space from a large door and two large windows, making the space feel bright and warm. Lastly, the octopus that is suspended from the ceiling put the finishing touch on the restaurant's oceanic ambiance.
