In the hallway, Ginger filled woven baskets and wood crates with found objects like pine cones, wooden beads and black packages to connect the design in this space to that in her living room. Then, she hung a Chrstmas banner and set out a Christmas pillow to complete the vision.
Marble tile floor surrounds a decorative circular floor panel with deep green tile adding color to the neutral foyer design. Support columns create a solid frame for the space leading out into the house and down the open hallway. A curved staircase is based in the foyer further connecting the enchanting space to the house beyond.

Inside the bedroom is another built-in designed by Kelley. A shelving unit divides the home office from the bed. The shelving offers an abundance of storage for Kelley’s collected pieces. Below, drawers have been installed as additional storage for clothing and accessories.

Curves rule the day in this elegant Washington foyer, from the curved walls to the engaged columns to the petite center table and crescent-shaped bench. The scrolled design in the wrought iron balcony rails is echoed in the double front doors.
To create a classic, inviting look in the entryway to this home, Joanna added black and white tile flooring to her design. To update that look and connect this space to the rest of the first floor, she carried the gray trim and wainscoting into this space. New, traditional light fixtures help to light the space, and a rustic hallway table adds a place to display candlesticks and fresh flowers, adding additional pieces of a classic touch.

This beautiful archway leads to a grand Italianate staircase and hallway. An iron lighting fixture and banister present an ornate style against the more simple surface of the interior walls. Arched walls continue in the upstairs hallway and on the first floor.
