In this guest bedroom, designers added a gray headboard and a gray striped rug to give some color to the space. To add texture and personality, bleached wood nightstands and a matching bench were added, while the gold and crystal chandelier and framed bridge schematic add personality and interest, creating a stylish space.
A traditional gray and white bedroom has 18-foot ceilings. The soft, calming space includes a custom headboard by designer Phoebe Howard, a bench, a bedside table with a lamp, chandelier made of an antique birdcage, white bedding and a darker door.
This master bedroom was once dark and traditional, but now, it is light and modern. To brighten the space, designers added sheer curtains that allow light into the room instead of blocking it. Heavier curtains were hung on a rod just outside the sheer, though, to block light and add privacy when desired. The modern headboard is the statement piece in the room, with the nightstands built into it, and the footboard doubles as a cabinet to house the television and conceal it when not in use.
The footboard of this bed opens to reveal a television, perfect for late night (or nap time) viewing. The bed's platform is made from repurposed benches that also provide extra storage for books and pillows.
This dreamy master suite has the feeling of a treehouse with windows on three sides looking out into leafy green. The star of the space is the handmade canopy bed with a bleached Western maple headboard and footboard and a white oak frame.
As seen on HGTV's Design on a Dime, fresh blue paint on the walls, crisp bedding and orange curtains add chic boutique hotel style to this bedroom. A bulky footboard was removed from the bed for a better view of the fireplace.
A tufted button-back paisley headboard and footboard is combined with luxurious textures and a delicate color palette to create a warm and inviting master suite. The pendant lights and starburst mirror give the room a punch of pizazz.
In this traditional bedroom, a tray ceiling trimmed in natural wood molding frames a delicate canopy bed. A brown bench keeps a low profile and shows off the vine detail of the footboard, while a potted palm tops off the space.
A navy, yellow and white master bedroom is emboldened with a navy upholstered headboard in a scalloped design from Ballard Designs. Two nightstands hold gold and white lamps. A wicker woven rug gives feeling below while a footboard bench rests at the end of the bed.
