The geometric print FLOR carpet squares freshen up the design of this fun kid's bedroom. Sconces in each bunk are controlled by individual switches so young occupants can get in late night comic book reading without disturbing nearby sleepers.
Designers used the Flor carpet squares as a jumping off point for the space's color, bringing in a gray sofa and green armchairs to complement the carpet. A gray bench provides additional seating while keeping the room open to the entryway and dining spaces.
The timeline for the redesign of the room was six days, due mostly in part to the quick installation of the floor. FLOR carpet tiles were installed after the existing wall-to-wall carpet was removed along with its padding. All that was needed for installation was a utility knife with extra blades as well as an L-square.
