A flexible entertaining space with multiple seating areas was created by replacing and extending the concrete paver materials. A fire pit is anchored by a plush sectional upholstered in bulletproof outdoor fabric.
The designer for this living room wanted to create a visually bold setting that allowed for easy entertaining. The long narrow space features a tete a tete sofa in the center, open to both sides of the room for flexible socializing.
The swings-as-barstools idea in this modern kitchen came from the family's travels – they saw similar swings in a bar and never forgot them. The kitchen was designed to be a fun space for the parents, their kids and their friends. A putting green on the balcony is easily accessed through chic sliding doors that provide an exquisite view of the urban surroundings while bathing the space in natural light. Two sofas and matching ottomans, along with clusters of octagon tables, allow for flexible arrangements, accommodating gatherings from intimate to grand. A graphic area rug in blacks and browns anchors the room, while a modern gray built-in bookcase with custom shelving anchors the wall near the entrance.

After adding French doors and skylights, the transformation was complete.
