This space was designed for the 44th Annual Bucks County Designer House + Gardens and draws from Parisian design while staying true to a 1860's farmhouse style. Hand-painted harlequin floors, hanging greenery, and woven table and chairs balance the natural charm found within a traditional farmhouse .
You've got to love a front porch where you can not only sit but you can lounge. This farmhouse boasts an impressive line-up of comfy chaise lounge chairs. While the black and white color palette and charming details of the house may draw you in, it's these chairs and fantastic view of the lake that make you never want to leave.
On the back porch, the family has a great space for entertaining and spending time with each other. An extra large sectional sofa sits in front of a beautiful stone fireplace that provides plenty of heat on cool fall nights in Georgia. There is also a dining area on the back porch so that the homeowners can enjoy their beautiful mountain views while eating a good meal.
The farmhouse-style look continues to the porch of this California home. Beth Dana Design decorated the doorway with a galvanized container, turquoise chair and vintage-looking fixtures. The renovated exterior of the early 1900s home has board and batten siding and bright white wide trim.
