The kitchen’s spacious undermount stainless steel sink includes an exposed hose pull-down faucet in black stainless with advanced technology that allows a simple touch of the faucet to start or stop the flow of water. The sink area also includes a coordinating soap dispenser in the same modern finish.
The family of five needed lots of seating and prep space in their kitchen, but they also wanted the space to remain stylish and functional, so they added an oversized island with a Viking prep sink and two Viking dishwashers to handle the abundance of dishes a large family is sure to create. The extra large area of the countertop gives the family plenty of space to prepare their meals, as well as lots of space underneath for storage. With its sleek, clean lines, the island not only added functionality to the space, but also gave the family the contemporary aspect they were looking for. The breakfast area just on the other side of the island meets the same requirements for the family. A dark stained dining table seats six, while the padded banquette adds to the contemporary feel to the space, with its metallic, tufted fabric and throw pillows, and also gives the space extra seating.
Chocolate grasscloth wallpaper and white cabinetry continue from the nearby kitchen at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 into the butler's pantry designed by Kathleen Navarra. The pantry includes extra refrigerator storage for beverages and an additional sink.
An alcove with extra cabinetry and plenty of storage space serves as the perfect pantry in this contemporary kitchen. A large skylight illuminates the space, while bright white cabinets make the whole area appear larger.
This family of five got the contemporary kitchen masterpiece they were looking for. The blond oak floors and the dark cabinets compliment each other and give the clean lines of the contemporary style the family was looking for. The white Thassos countertops that were installed continue the trend of stylish, sleek lines, while also being durable enough to handle the daily preparation of large meals. The stainless steel appliances add a sophisticated look to the space, but because they are Viking appliances, they give the family the state of the art technology and luxury they were in the market for. To complete this sleek, elegant space, the family added contemporary crystal light fixtures to hang above the extra large kitchen island and the wine storage in the corner of the kitchen to give their space the touch of luxury the family dreamed of.
Above a large, undermount sink, designers John and Anthony installed floating glass shelves to add storage and display space without interrupting the design of the kitchen. As seen on America's Most Desperate Kitchens.
This kitchen has been reconfigured to take advantage of the new open concept floor plan. A large kitchen island provides more counter space, as well as doubles as a kitchen table with stools running underneath. The sliding door was reduced to a sink under the window, allowing the galley kitchen to run along the whole wall. Stainless steel appliances, pendant and recessed lighting, and a neutral color scheme create a clean modern look to the kitchen. New flooring was added throughout the whole first floor.
The homeowners needed an inviting kitchen that could meet their meal prep needs, so they added a large kitchen island in the center of the space. This kitchen island has dark cabinets to compliment the neutral color palette of the rest of the space, as well as add warmth. The island contains a dishwasher, a two sided prep sink and plenty of storage for the family's many cookbooks. A breakfast bar with additional seating has been added for the more casual eating affair.
