This master bathroom boasts a pair of modern vanities accented with sleek drawer pulls, contemporary faucets and sconces. Oversized mirrors bounce light around the space, making it feel twice as large.
This spacious double vanity features a clean, white design with plenty of storage for your bathroom essentials. Nestled between the two mirrors, built-in glass shelves display decor and necessities in an elegant design.
For the bathroom of a new home in Westchester County, NY, architect Daniel Contelmo created an elegant vanity that is as rich in storage as it is in style. “It’s packed with various storage options, equally divided for the couple who shares the bath,” says Contelmo. Among the amenities are a built-in hamper, a linen closet, plenty of cabinets and drawers, lighted custom-framed mirrors and a central shelving area that offers display space and visually breaks the long limestone counter.
This bathroom, inspired by a French countryside chateau, features dual sinks set in clean white furniture-style cabinetry. Lighting from the wrought-iron chandelier, wall sconces and accent fixtures lining the vaulted ceiling reflect in the oversized mirror.
“Keep your details simple and clean and use the trendy stuff in accessories that are easier to change out,” says Christina Fluegge, owner of Greige Design. “I like to combine neutral materials so that spaces have contrast and texture without too much going on, so there’s room for variety.” In this bathroom, Fluegge used beadboard on the walls in colors that contrast slightly with the white marble countertops and sinks below. Underfoot, she chose a porcelain tile that mimics vein-cut limestone, but has more texture so that it doesn’t get slippery when wet.
The contemporary vanity in this urban master bathroom features dual vessel sinks and light wood cabinetry. A tile shower with recessed lighting and a glass door exudes a private, luxurious feel. The urban vibe is preserved with ductwork visible through mirrored partitions.
