In this second-level main entry, the design team collaborated to use colors and finishes that emphasize the home's architectural details. A pair of staircases adds symmetry and drama, while the chandelier dresses up the space and gives it the "grand foyer" feel the client was seeking.
“Keep your details simple and clean and use the trendy stuff in accessories that are easier to change out,” says Christina Fluegge, owner of Greige Design. “I like to combine neutral materials so that spaces have contrast and texture without too much going on, so there’s room for variety.” In this bathroom, Fluegge used beadboard on the walls in colors that contrast slightly with the white marble countertops and sinks below. Underfoot, she chose a porcelain tile that mimics vein-cut limestone, but has more texture so that it doesn’t get slippery when wet.
Almost palatial in its scope, this grand traditional kitchen features two islands, two refrigerators and plenty of countertop surface for prepping and storage. For an additional touch of luxury, matching chandeliers help light the space.
Two large kitchen islands provide plenty of meal prep space in this neutral contemporary kitchen. The rich dark wood cabinetry is lightened and complemented by the custom blue backsplash and stainless steel appliances throughout.
Take a closer look at the islands, and you might notice that each comes with a couple of outlets. Not only do these allow the owners to plug in blenders or other kitchen essentials, but they can also be used as convenient charging stations for the kids' phones or computers after dinner.
High-gloss cabinetry, LED lighting and a neutral color palette create a sleek, contemporary look in this kitchen. Book-matched slabs of exotic granite were used to create a seamless-looking waterfall top on the main island. The veneered, bowed floating hood was carefully engineered with a steel support structure.
Twin kitchen islands allow for more prep space and room to dine in this lovely, contemporary kitchen. Hardwood flooring adds warmth to the chic design, and a combination of blue pendant lights and recessed lighting help brighten up the space.
With counter space limited in the kitchen, dual islands offer enough room for prepping as well as dining. Beautiful details such as the exposed beam ceiling, glass pendant lights and crisp white cabinets make the space feel bright and elegant.
This pristine kitchen features custom everything, from the marble backsplash that extends to the ceiling to the integrated appliances to the range hood to the dual islands, one for prep and one for dining. The beamed ceiling continues into a hearth room that opens to a gorgeous water view. Wide-plank wood floors mix with glossy natural stone to bring the space a chic mix of rustic and modern details.
Fire features adorn this infinity pool and add warmth and entertaining value to the outdoor space. The dual fire bowls combine with water to spill over into the pool for a beautiful combination of the elements.
