This outdoor space boasts plenty of Texas charm and was actually created to resemble an open-range saloon. To shade the existing concrete patio and add Southern flair, the designers created a cedar arbor in a fan-shaped pattern. The kitchen and grill area were built with block and dry stack stone. Adjacent to the kitchen, there's even a fire pit and additional seating for extra guest entertainment.
A developed backyard with limited access and a client wanting a fun pool for the kids, but with an adult feel..The solution was to craft a vessel that would sit within the multiple terraced gardens, that were created with dry stacked stone. Our first challenge was getting into the backyard with minimal disruption, this would require importing soil to fill in areas creating ramps over walls and developed areas.
