Architectural relics from 19th century France were upcycled to make this canopy bed which features an upholstered headboard and damask duvet cover. Pastel shades of blue, rose, gold and peach are repeated in the walls, rug, bedding and furniture. The polenta armoire dates to the eighteenth-century Italian and is from the Piedmont region, south of Milan.
Using a large taupe damask wallpaper keeps this second floor master bedroom feeling fresh and updated but still traditional. Touches of raspberry pink bring a little femininity to the room while a seating area provides a place to relax. Mixing a custom skirt, duvet and shams with a new headboard and antique desk, chair and lamp creates a timeless element of style.
