Here, they can choose from several comfortable seating options and admire a custom light fixture from Casa Zeta Italia, which is made of steel and fabric. Floor-to-ceiling drapes emphasize the room’s height and also allow for privacy at night.
The bar area in the Sacred Pepper is meant to be inviting to all-whether they are watching a sports game, having some light appetizers or enjoying a drink. The bar is topped with an elegant stone agate that blends nicely with the colors and tone of the main dining room, while the deep cobalt wall behind the bar makes this space a little more funky. To complete this area of the restaurant, another custom made fixture from Portugal is suspended over the bar.
The dining room in this home features a custom, suspended light fixture that highlights the ceiling height and reflects in the round mirror on the wall. The modern, wooden dining table is paired with black chairs in a similar style.
The kitchen in the King home has been completely transformed and repositioned. Some of the key elements of the kitchen are the open shelves, the black granite countertops, the brick backsplash, a vent hood, stainless steel appliances, industrial light fixtures and a custom island, as seen on Fixer Upper.
This custom pendant light was designed by Andrea Michaelson using chain mesh from ceiling to floor surrounding an exposed light bulb. The functional, unique and industrial modern light fixture fits the design studio powder room where it resides.
In the open breakfast room of the 2017 Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse, Meredith McBrearty Interiors installed a custom-designed plaster light by Julie Neill Designs out of New Orleans. The contemporary fixture centers the dining table.
The stairway pendant in the design studio was designed by Andrea Michaelson and was made using reclaimed factory coils with a vintage-style exposed bulb. The contemporary aesthetic with touches of industrial style was used throughout the entire space on everything from fixtures to furnishings.
This breakfast room features a custom banquette and table. The table is made with a custom terrazzo top and hammered nickel base, and the banquette is upholstered in rich red leather. The Josef Frank fabric of the Roman shade ties together the banquette and the lapis-and-coral-beaded chandelier.
As seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper, Joanna's design for this master bathroom contained a dark, slate backsplash and custom countertops, but to make the space feel more modern and sophisticated, Joanna added a new, modern light fixture and open shelving to complete the look.
