Angelica Henry cleverly designed this gorgeous bar area with custom sliding, barn-like doors that work to conceal its inner workings when not in use. The wall unit's glossy black finish and decorative glass panels replicate the free-standing serving area, both acting together in allocating functional space right off the foyer.
As seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper, Joanna decked this master bedroom out in neutrals, making the space feel bright and open. Wood accents, such as the custom made headboard and bench, create warmth in the space, making it inviting. A wood barn door conceals a master en suite that has also been remodeled.
So many elements of this bunk room design are just awesome. The wavy wallpaper on the back wall is really fun and gives the room an underwater effect. Rope ladders provide access to upper bunks; the turquoise rope coordinates perfectly with the wallpaper and oak steps were custom fabricated. For storage, closets are on either side of the room, both with blue sliding barn doors with black hardware. The pendant light is made from pieces of plastic that attach to a frame, so it’s durable in case of kid mishap, but also resonates with the watery feel.
