Designer Kim Lewis added the large 9' window to the space to make the bathroom that much brighter. To keep from covering it up with a traditional mirror, Lewis used a barn door track, providing flexibility in placement, so it never hinders the view of the incredible Southern California landscape just outside.

A custom-designed metal door slides on a barn door track system to stylishly hide this home's washer and dryer. Throughout the house, the designers used reclaimed materials and industrial elements to customize the space and add architectural interest.
This space is filled with unique custom pieces, from the corrugated metal ceiling to the suspended industrial lighting to the sliding barn doors coated in chalkboard paint. Richly finished reclaimed wood warms up the industrial elements in the space, giving the house a homey, lived-in feel that's also urban and chic.
