Rich black, enameled cabinetry with accents of Peruvian walnut are the dramatic cornerstone of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2014 kitchen. The sophisticated look is completed with brushed and polished metal hardware, white stone counters and geometric glass tiles, while a custom quartz crystal-encrusted ceiling cove crowns the space.
Gilded accents lift up a modern living room and counterbalance the weight of the dark wood walls and floors. The paneled space features a walnut wood credenza with hand-blown glass crystal disks and a steel frame and hardware. Geometric gold sconces, globe-shaped table lamps and a watercolor framed in a repurposed antique gilded frame complete the vignette.
What was once a bedroom in a Charleston style home is now a chic, teal dressing room/closet, thanks to Nicole Norris, ASID, NCIDQ. A cheery turquoise color was chosen for the built-ins and balanced with a luxurious leopard print carpet. Other glamorous touches include a gorgeous crystal and hemp chandelier, sparkling drawer hardware, an upholstered fabric wall behind the glass shoe shelves and a custom-made full-length mirror.
As seen on HGTV’s Love It Or List It Too, Designer Jillian Harris took was what once a dark and oversized master bedroom and turned it into a warm and cozy space. Jillian extended the tiny ensuite into the bedroom and created two much need walk-in closets. The paint color (upper wall) is Behr Breezeway, MQ3-21 and the color on bead board (lower wall) is Behr Ultra White, 1850. The night tables are custom from Shilo Living and the wallpaper on the drawers is from Crown Wall covering Clarke and Clarke Clarisse, in color Duck Egg. The crystal handles on night table by Berenson hardware. The bed is custom Queen sized bed in fabric Robson Silver by Van Gogh. The chair is the Janet Chair in fabric Utopia Oyster by Van Gogh. The storage ottoman at foot of bed is completely custom, as is the monogrammed initial pillows; both were made by Window Works.
