Homeowners wanted a simple shelving unit to help them maintain their garden, so designers built integrated steel and cedar shelving welded onto corrugated panel fencing that connects to the fence. These shelves add an area to pot and store gardening supplies next to the raised vegetable planting beds.
The aerial view of this beautiful horse farm shows a long, winding driveway that carries visitors past fenced paddocks for horses to the main house. Past the main house toward the back of the property, another set of fenced paddocks and connected barn area provide even more space for the horses to roam.
In the landscape design of this farm, a series of outdoor rooms were laid out in a close-knit group, connected by cobblestone and flagstone paths. Wood rescued from a run-down barn on the property was used to build the structures and fencing.
Stone and glass blend on the facade of this modern home, which connects to its rugged, secluded site through its generous use of natural and organic materials, as well as broad expanses of glass that open the interiors to sweeping views. A stone fence creates a sinuous line that draws the eye to the clean, modern structure.
The long and narrow backyard is divided into separate living areas, making the most of its limited space. A walkway connects the outdoor room to the fire pit lounge and elevated hot tub. A purple fence and lush landscaping color it a private retreat.
