The urban sophisticate would feel right at home in this industrial kitchen where concrete floors and exposed metal tubing give it polish and sheen. Dark wood cabinets up the drama of the open concept space.
The new streamlined modern kitchen in the Carrino home is bold, modern, and open. Polished concrete floors meet with wood and stainless steel for a bold, graphic, modern look. This space was designed by Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri of HGTV's hit show Cousins on Call.
"This living space was created with flexibility in mind," says architect Jennifer Martin of the cozy-cool hangout space she created for a family in Arroyo Grande, California. "Polished concrete floors give the room maximum durability but a finished look, and the door openers are both sleek and quiet."
This basement offers plenty of storage space as well as a quaint seating area. Built-in wood storage cubbies keep the space clean and clutter-free, while glossy concrete floors add an urban feel. In the corner of the room, a built-in wine rack elegantly displays bottles of wine for those special occasions.
This art-studio-inspired bedroom is defined by the high industrial ceiling. A colorful bust sculpture, dark red headboard and gold and red accent pillows add pops of color to the white elements in the space. A modern white pendant light and floor lamp brighten the concrete interior.
A soothing neutral palette pairs with warm wood accents and light blue tile in this contemporary spa bathroom. A spacious double vanity features twin mirrors above, and two closets provide plenty of storage for towels and other bathroom essentials.
