This charming home features a wraparound columned porch, a second level balcony, custom landscaping and a sweeping lawn. The white siding accents the architectural style of the home and is complemented by the lush green surrounding.
To add texture, color and contrast, the walls of this bathroom were clad with reclaimed barn siding featuring different shades of gray, brown and white. In order to attach the siding, each plank was cut to size with a circular saw, lightly sanded to help smooth the surface, then installed to the wall with a nail gun.
Beachy inspiration creates a bedroom that's a restful retreat at the end of the day. A soft yellow-green wall adds subtle color to the mostly white space, while a clapboard siding focal wall brings texture behind the bed.
An open floor plan townhouse has a seamless flow from the kitchen to the living and dining rooms. Bringing beach-inspired texture to the space is an accent wall that looks like clapboard siding. Contemporary green armchairs and Ghost dining chairs modernize the rooms, while weathered woods on the dining table and media console add a rustic note.
A rock bed surrounds the front entry of this country cabin home. Natural rock walls combine with polished wood for a beautiful contrast. A blue front door, blue barn shutters and a blue painted overhang add color to the natural palette. A glimpse of the red siding peeks through for an additional color accent.
