With the doors to the wardrobe cabinet open, you can see the sturdy crossbar for hanging bags and jackets, an upper shelf for smaller items, and the cabinet’s lower shelf with a basket for extra pillows or a throw blanket for chilly days and nights.
For this warm, Moroccan inspired kitchen, all of the cabinets were custom made and lacquered white. To add visual interest to the design, custom panels of hand scraped White Oak laid out in a chevron pattern cover the refrigerator and freezer. Finally, un-lacquered brass appliance pulls, drawer pulls and cabinet hardware to finish the design.
A splash of orange in the cabinetry and pendant light adds instant energy to the mostly neutral kitchen, which also features warm khaki cabinets and sage countertops. Another burst of color, though more muted, is brought in through the red oxidized penny-round backsplash.
