In the dining room, a custom-designed dining table features pulls on either end. When the table is expanded, live edge extensions are placed on top. Becky Shea, the designer of the room and the table, likes that this approach "avoids too much machinery and lets the wood do its thing."
This elegant dining room draws its visual interest from striking contrast and luxurious textures. The upper doors of the cabinets bordering the buffet have been removed and the interior painted dark gray, a rich contrast to the crisp white elsewhere in the room. White marble covers the buffet backsplash and a crystal chandelier twinkles overhead.
