In the foyer, a wall of windows from floor to ceiling brings in plenty of natural light making the home feel bright and open. Even with the large space, designers made the entrance of this home feel a little more intimate with simple, warm furniture that brings the home to life.
The designers left the staircase and fieldstone planter in their original condition, but added a painted wood screen to separate the stairs from the lower-level family room and bedroom, the latter of which is now used as an office. Pushing out the entry door gave the foyer a bit more breathing room, and new porcelain tile flooring updated the look.
The homeowners wanted an entry space that really greeted its guests. Designers created a bold accent wall using textures wood paper, and then added layers on top of it. Then, they brought in a console table and black leather stools for charm and a gallery wall of geometric prints add a touch of whimsy to the space, while a skylight lets in natural light, maintaining a clean, bright look.
This inviting foyer features decorative arched doorways, a mosaic tile marble floor and an elegant metal chandelier. Tropical plants flank a pair of doors while metallic mirror hangs above a stone table. Another set of glass paneled doors leads the way to the courtyard.
