This U-shaped kitchen offers a huge amount of storage below and some white upper cabinets that blend into the wall space. To keep the space clean and sleek, the ventilation hood was tucked behind a false cabinet panel. A thick, site poured concrete counter with waterfall edge was poured on site. Brass pendants and sconces complement the navy blue lower cabinets for that modern feel.
This bathroom space features a black vanity with white top. A patterned tile wall forms a backsplash, and a brass industrial pendant light hangs overhead while brass sconce lights flank a mirror above the vanity.
This bright eat-in kitchen keeps the space feeling open with a large white marble kitchen island and four wicker bar chairs. Two brass pendant lights hang above to give the space a pop of sophistication.
Designer Vanessa DeLeon used plush fabrics and deep gray accent pieces to put an elegant spin on this complete home remodel. The eclectic teal and black dining room features an over-dyed turquoise rug from Creative Touch in Secaucus, N.J., while the table hails from Brooklyn-based artisan woodworker Palo Samko. The neutral walls are complemented by a faux-painted black and gray ceiling and black leather chairs around a rustic hardwood dining table with mismatched candle holders and two brass pendant lights.
In this formal dining room, designer Vanessa DeLeon achieves an appealing balance between feminine and masculine with a pair of romantic Kravet banquettes in black crushed velvet on the ends, accompanied by eight sturdy leather and antique gold barrel dining chairs. A stunning blue velvet rug adds a splash of color while pulling the look together.
This dramatically eclectic dining room from designer Vanessa DeLeon has a rustic wooden table and large windows allowing natural light to fill this space. The handcrafted table by Palo Samko features his signature butterfly joinery. “In this room, the table is the show-stopper,” says DeLeon, who continued the clean, crisp look with lightweight velvet panels in dark gray on the windows. The chandelier from Currey & Company is purposefully understated.
This timeless kitchen look features a chic pop of brass throughout the space. Red-brown island bar chairs draw the eye with a warm wash of color against the white and gray color scheme. A subway tile backsplash gives a marbled look to the wall beneath the range hood.
