This red and white cottage bedroom provides a cozy, warm space with a red and white quilt, paisley and polka dot patterned pillows, and a cottage style red nightstand accessorized with a simple floral arrangement, rooster themed wind-up clock, and vintage books.
Adorned with lively patterns and an energetic color palette, the north bedroom of designer Sarah Richardson's farmhouse pops with personality. Sarah combined red paisley and polka dots to create an eclectic look, but kept the space cohesive with a brass bed and brass accents throughout.
Sarah Richardson, host of HGTV's "Sarah's Summer House," used the sun as the inspiration for the bright colors in this guest bedroom. The recycled white-painted pine paneling on the walls gives a neutral backdrop to the colorful fabric schemes. The division in the windows brings charm into the space, while the brass bed adds a robust element to the summer cottage bedroom.
To make the large space feel more cozy and intimate, designers brought in a large, padded headboard in navy blue leather. To accent this new piece, turquoise lamps were added to the nightstand on either side of the bed-the jewel tones of the accents and the bed frame creating a nice contrast between themselves and the gray walls.
This handsome boy's bedroom, one of two in the home, features a West Elm reclaimed wood headboard and bed alongside a pair of gray lacquer and brass detailed nightstands and a brass chandelier. Tones of blue and gray are used throughout the room: in the striped area rug by Jaipur, patterned bedding and window shades.
On either side of the bed, two wooden nightstands give the owners a spot for family photos and fresh flowers. Notice how the nightstand's brass pulls complement the lamp's base and so tie the room together.
A saturated gray wall color is an elegant backdrop to luxurious white bed linens in the Atlanta Decorators Show House upstairs master bedroom. A brass floor lamp and leather chair create a handsome sitting area.
