This pool house offers vacation vibes and welcoming spaces to relax just steps away from the main home. The house is light and airy with white tones and Pennsylvania bluestone flooring, and provides pool guests a kitchen, bathroom, living and dining space, and play area with backyard access.
Just off the kitchen's intimate sitting area surrounded by leaded glass windows and antique doors is the all-weather porch that affords the owners with a year-round retreat and spectacular views of the lake. An antique iron chandelier, Apache Bluestone floors and custom-designed table set the tone.
The interior of the poolhouse has a sitting area, dining area, and small kitchen for preparing food. The tile floor inside the poolhouse allows travel between the pool and the poolhouse, without worry of damaging the interior flooring.
After: The grill station was made from fieldstone similar to the existing retaining wall along the property line and blend with the yard’s natural character. Mosaic Group used bluestone for the grill station floor. The counter is 4” thick black concrete with exposed Mexican beach pebbles and cantilevered over a round pillar that makes the space feel roomier.
Multiple water features combine on this Minnesota patio with a pergola: a water fountain, hot tub and an outdoor shower.
