To get a little extra space in what was one a small, confined bathroom, this timeless black and white bathroom poached some space from the exercise room. Subway tiles on the wall and penny-round tiles on the floor gave the space a retro feeling, while the custom mirror and trough sink made the space a little more fun.
This contemporary bathroom features a larger vanity with a black top and a white cabinet. Custom built shelves behind the shower tub combo add extra storage for bath linens. Green square tiles in the shower and white octagonal floor tile add style to the room.
Dog silhouette wallpaper creates a fun, whimsical backdrop to this eclectic bathroom. A black vanity is topped with a simple white tiled countertop and backsplash, creating stylish contrast in the space.
For fun, this bright bathroom starts with a crisp black-and-white palette, then goes wild with different patterns: large hexagons for the walls, tiny mosaic tiles on the shower and zippy stripes on the floor.
You could get the look of these costly acrylic cabinets at a fraction of the price by alternating white and black high-gloss paint. Designer Laurie Haefele of Haefele Design adds that using hardware that screws into cabinets or no hardware at all would be significantly cheaper than the recessed drawer pulls she used. This bathroom is a 2016 National Kitchen + Bath Association Competition winner.
