Although the home is newly built, the owners wanted it to have the charm and character of Southern homes from the 18th to early 20th centuries. To pull off that look, designers used six different types of casings and white painted millwork common to houses of that era.

The bicycle ceiling fixture is painted a bold orange to match the colorful area rug, and a rope floor lamp is topped with a playful bicycle lamp shade. Light wood furniture is the perfect complement to the bold colors of the space.
