Though most of this Atlanta living room is treated with layers of neutral gray tones and white, the use of blue grasscloth behind the custom-built shelves creates a pop of color and adds extra depth to the design. Comfortable Bernhardt chairs featuring well-tailored upholstery is arranged to promote conversation.
This breakfast area is a cheerful mix of patterns: Bernhardt dining chairs with a graphic back and nailhead trim surround a round Coddington-designed walnut table. A silver leaf iron pendant, roman shades and a Moroccan-print accent rug complete the space. The artwork in the adjoining living room is by Monika Steiner.
In the redesign of this 3000-square foot family home, the main living areas were connected in an open concept layout, including the removal of ornate molding and built-in shelving units. Nature-inspired furnishings by Baker, Holly Hunt, Ralph Lauren Home and Bernhardt set a relaxing tone in the new spaces.
