A large tufted headboard with turned corners looks beautiful against the rich color of the orange accent wall in this transitional bedroom. Patterned bed covers are accented with polka dot yellow pillows and a yellow striped throw blanket. A leather bench caps the end of the bed and matches the bed side table and small table in the adjoining sitting space.
Neutral walls and bed linens create a calm setting in this eclectic bedroom. Curtains patterned with blue, green and brown leaves add subtle decoration framing the large windows. A patterned yellow chair and two upholstered stool seats match the yellow throw pillow propped against the leather headboard. The unique striped base of the stools compliments the warm red glow of the hardwood.
To create a space that is both nursery and guest bedroom, a twin bed was brought in to accommodate the baby's mother or other guests at night. The gray and white striped bedspread complements the neutral color palette of this travel themed nursery, while the gold and silver mobile and wall decal match the gold chevron throw pillow that adorns the guest bed.
This design of this kid's bedroom demonstrates the finesse of Jackson Paige Interiors, as they incorporate the overall contemporary, coastal theme of the home but with a fun and free-wheeling approach. The contemporary bunk bed with shelves anchors the decor and allows the more eclectic elements--wallpaper, striped wall, light fixture and built-in daybed--to show their charm.
Plaid bed linens and sail boat pillow cases decorate the two sets of bunk beds separated by a wood panel with built in bookshelves in this kid's bedroom. A lovable collection of stuffed animals adds comfort and color to the room. A sleek black dresser with gray drawers compliments the gray and neutral tones on the walls and strip of shag carpeting.
This stylish boy's bedroom uses bold punches of turquoise in the benches, nightstand and ottomans to complement the gray color palette. Colorful wall art behind the beds infuses the room with more color, and a plush window seat with an array of throw pillows creates a cozy spot for the boys to relax. A black and white striped rug grounds the space and adds lovely contrast to the bright accent colors.
The view from this modern master bedroom overlooks the pool and the Las Vegas strip. In this space, the colors of the desert are accentuated in the orange beanbag chair and the red-orange painting that hangs on the modern, cinder block wall. The use of these natural colors and textures ensures that, not only does the outside blend into the nature that surrounds this home, so does the inside.
This traditional bedroom features cozy blue and cream bed linens and lace accents, giving the space a cottage feel. A cream colored nightstand with ornate hardware displays a bronze bed lamp and coordinating blue lampshade, picture frame, along with other accessories. The lighter blues of the linens and accents contrast well with the sand colored walls. A blue and cream striped roman shade controls light and adds visual interest to the room.
The vintage headboard in this guest bedroom was spray-painted in matte gray to give it a graphic look against the bright white walls. Simple white bedding highlights the red and white striped throw, while chunky timber bedside tables provide a large surface for a guest to keep books, phones and knick-knacks. The tall white lamps were chosen to balance the tall windows and trimmed with red velvet ribbon for a custom look.
HGTV's Cousins On Call, Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri rebuild the home of Mr. and Mrs. Puchalik while they live with family. Construction commenced with a completely gutted house without walls or floors. In this photograph, Anthony and John have designed a comfortable guest bedroom with warm colors, light sand colored, unfinished nightstands on both sides of the bed and a striped bed covers as seen on HGTV's Cousins On Call.
Sherwin Williams Iron Ore was used on the walls for both of these boys’ rooms. The Jack-and-Jill bathroom is covered in a cool black and white comic strip-inspired wallpaper. The animated paper adds a sense of humor and a youthful energy that perfectly describes the Blehm boys. Each of the rooms also has refurbished vintage pieces that reflects the boys’ individual interests; check out the retro digital clock and Rubik’s cube. My favorite element is the black penny tiled bathroom floor that bridges that gap between the two bedrooms.
