In the family room of this Los Feliz home, designers added arches to open up the space and create a view from the dining room to the pool. In the archways, windows were fitted to allow in plenty of natural light and make the room feel bright and open.
A beautiful brick surround frames this stove area with an arch-shaped opening. A neutral tile backsplash and neutral marble countertop add a lovely smooth contrast to the naturally rough texture of the brick. A stainless steel range hood with built-in lighting hangs over the stove. Matte blue cabinets add some color and the final touch to the country look.
Archways open this outdoor dining space into a vibrant yard with glass retaining wall border. Marble tile flooring and a roof above create the perfect surroundings for enjoying a meal at the long dining table and wicker chairs.
This traditional, open plan great room with wide, arched doorways contrasts dark hardwoods with gray walls and gray and white upholstery to provide a light, airy feel. Highlights include a candelabra-style wrought iron chandelier, arched openings, and a neutral diamond-pattern area rug.
A peak into this dining room showcases a dark arm chair at the head of the table surrounded with chairs draped in white slip covers. A unique wire globe light decorates the room above the dark wood dining table. Natural lighting streams in from the large windows framed in chocolate brown curtains.
This kitchen is set up in the center of a large open concept living area. To help divide the space usefully, an L-shaped island acts as a mellow boundary and gives a place to sit and hang out while meals are being prepped.
