To maintain the farmhouse feel, designers kept the wainscoting that already existed in the space, but updated it with a coat of paint that continues the neutral color palette into the dining room. A vintage, farmhouse table further continues the design, while the chairs surrounding it have been painted black to make them seem more modern. The sliding barn door separates the dining room and kitchen from the rest of the house, maintaining the vintage style. Finally, color is added to the space through the aqua pendant light and the broadway letter B light, completing the updated, farmhouse design of the space.
A bold-hued, overscale pendant and bright modern artwork stand out vividly against the gray-black palette of this industrial kitchen and dining space. Stainless steel stair rails, hardware and appliances gleam in the modern lighting, while upholstered chairs and barstools add an element of softness to the hard-edged space.
This master bathroom is beachy, blue dream, with blue and green mosaic tiles, glass vases in different shades of blue, a clawfoot tub, a weathered metal pendant light, and a stone tile floor. The arch of the vaulted ceiling echoes is mirrored in the arched inset shelves.
