This dining room was created for a client that likes to entertain and was designed to inspire conversation. It includes a gallery wall of signed music posters, a cocktail and wine collection, Anthropologie dining chairs and a colorful CB2 rug under the dining table. Overhead, the coffered ceiling is highlighted with dark trim.
To create a designated laundry and mudroom for this home, designers repurposed part of the garage. They raised the floor, framed in walls and added heated floors (heavenly!). Complementary shades of blue and orange decorate this inspired dining space. Orange carpet tiles by Flor anchor the eating area, which features a long, rustic-industrial table matched with chairs in two metallic finishes, as well as a whimsical outdoor bench repurposed with bold blue paint and custom cushions. A beamed ceiling adds warmth and interest to the space and continues the earthy color palette.

A cork accent wall provides both a conversation piece and sound absorption, since the wall is shared with an upstairs bathroom. Casual textiles complement the unique artwork.
