The stone fireplace surround with a hanging flat-screen monitor is the focal point of this family room designed by architect Andreas Charalambous. Extra-cushy modern loungers allow for movie viewing in comfort.
A wall-size floor mirror defines the small dining area in this open living space. Designer Andreas Charalambous of FORMA Design angles the large mirror against the wall to reflect natural light and views of the adjacent garden.
By tiling the wall behind the sink, Andreas Charalambous creates visual interest without overwhelming those lucky enough to visit this mosaic powder room. Small object boxes, reflected in the mirror, are an efficient way to display treasures in a small space.
This kitchen is the epitome of sleek and modern. The space features stainless steel appliances and cabinetry, hardwood floors and monochromatic countertops. The light fixture and frosted glass upper cabinets also give the kitchen a futuristic feel. Design by Andreas Charalambous
Nothing says warmth more than rich, chocolate brown tones mixed with gray, aubergine and pumpkin orange. Designer Andreas Charalambous added lights behind the wall to illuminate this bedroom with a soft, intimate glow, allowing the orange accent wall to stand out among the deeper elements of the space.
A bold and gorgeous mirror can be the focal point of a room. Designer Andreas Charalambous of FORMA Design uses this extra-large mirror to "reflect the light from the balcony below and to serve as a last-minute check point as the owners head out to work," he says. "The mirror itself becomes the artwork in this minimal set up." Even a large wall mirror can bring simplicity to a space if used correctly.
