Directed by David O. Russell, American Hustle is a crime comedy-drama loosely based on the fascinating FBI ABSCAM operation of the late 1970s and early '80s. To create the look of the film, Russell turned to Judy Becker, his longtime collaborator who also worked with him on The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook. See how Becker created the look of two of the film’s most notable sets: the sleek and sophisticated apartment of Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams), and the over-the-top ranch house of Rosalyn Rosenfeld (Jennifer Lawrence).
Just a few repairs were needed, including a new white railing, on the exterior of this 1915 home in Atlanta's Candler Park neighborhood. He worked with Black Dawg Construction in Atlanta.
Depicted by a simple box shape and the large central dormer, this style of colonial home is called the Foursquare. Its full-width porch and low roof with a deep overhang are also in keeping with this post-Victorian design. The simple white and green color scheme ties into the style of the home.

Highlighting the statue are a few indigenous, flowering plants, adding color to the space, but not requiring much water, keeping the yard sustainable and eco friendly.
