Master Closet Outfitted With Wall-to-Wall Wardrobes and Drawers
Wall-to-wall wardrobes and drawers outfit the master closet at the 2016 San Francisco Decorator Showcase inspired by pop culture royalty. Designer Tineke Triggs drew inspiration from the styles and fashions of David Bowie and Iman when creating the master suite.
A classic white table lamp sheds light throughout the laundry room, where gray bead board walls stand as a stark contrast to white cabinets and appliances. “It’s an eye-popper, really good looking, and very tailored,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum.
Making the most of the vertical space in this closet, sleek black shelves house purses and accessories. Racks underneath are perfect for stowing shoes and four separate bars provide plenty of storage for hanging clothes.
Storage is essential in any home but can be even more crucial in a laundry room. Designer Sarah Richardson doesn't want to take away from the floor space, so she designs the storage as close to the ceiling as possible. The shelved cabinets run horizontal above the washer/dryer unit and provide the perfect place to hold towels and other laundry essentials.
