Boasting an airy, tropical theme, this outdoor room at Naples Bay features stenciled palm leaves and rattan furnishings. An integrated microwave and cabinet and counter space make it easy to prepare a quick snack without the hassle of going inside to the kitchen.
The backyard is transformed into an island getaway, complete with a shipwreck. The boat is made from an old wooden sailing ketch named SeaQuest. The interior space is converted to a bar area, and the two original bunks area fitted with new custom-made mattresses.
A relaxing side yard is created with a cozy lanai overlooking the swimming pool and ocean. The contemplative space is surrounded by dense native planting to protect from the biting winter winds while maintaining clear views to the water.

This gorgeous home exterior features neutral stucco paired with a Spanish tile roof. Tropical plants, like palm trees, line the pool and hot tub area, while a covered outdoor sitting area offers a multiple armchairs for lounging in the shade.

A tropical paradise is carved into a suburban San Diego neighborhood. The entire slope of this backyard is transformed into a eye-catching, relaxing pool with hot tub, waterfall and outdoor living space.
The long and narrow backyard is divided into separate living areas, making the most of its limited space. A walkway connects the outdoor room to the fire pit lounge and elevated hot tub. A purple fence and lush landscaping color it a private retreat.
