As seen on Home Town, the Walker's Laurel, MS existing dining room was cold and uninviting was a dark stain on the existing wood floor and a single door in the wall to access the wall paneled kitchen. After the renovations, their dining room now flows right into the large kitchen and features the original hardwood floor refinished, updated furnishings, a custom built white oak buffet table and a custom designed wallpaper wall that host Erin Napier hand drew and sent off to have the wallpaper created for the Walker residence.

Luckily, interior designer Linda Woodrum knew just how to alleviate that issue. “When you have a tremendous amount of volume, you’re looking for ways to help with acoustics,” explains Linda. “So the more fabric you get in the room, the more you help with acoustics.”
