Eclectic Multicolored Living Room With Map Rug
There's a worldly theme going on in this fun eclectic living room: A map rug lies underfoot, a globe sits on a side table, a collection of globes made from repurposed children's books hangs from the ceiling. A mishmash of colors, patterns and textures throughout the rest of the room keeps the space lively and whimsical.
The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining area and living room makes entertaining easy and effortless. The fireplace surround features cove lighting that highlights the pattern and texture. The window seat cleverly stores firewood so it's nearby, but doesn't clutter the space.
Modern Living Room With White Sofa and Large Window
This modern living room features a thick yet sleek white sofa. Wood-framed chairs sit on the opposite side of the slatted coffee table and geometric rug. A large window lets in natural light, making the white room even brighter and offering a scenic view. A black canvas adds a pop of contrast to the white walls.
Contemporary Living Room With Southwestern Influence Featuring Leather Sectional and Macrame Art
The view into the living room area displays the white on white texture of unbleached macrame fiber art on the white ship lap. The coffee table is a DIY - a broken clock face transformed into a live edge table with hair pin legs. A tall floor lamp arches over the large brown leather sectional.
This stunning converted barn features a stylish living room just off the kitchen. Room highlights include the cozy stone fireplace, beadboard walls, striped green chairs, and an abundance of natural light.
From dreary and dated to calm and sophisticated, designers restored the neoclassical plaster work in the living room to reveal a luxurious, yet comfortable space. They removed the old fireplace that was dark and too heavy for the space and replaced it with a monolithic slab of real marble and a fully functioning fireplace that is light and inviting. The room’s lower ceiling lends the space an intimate feel that is enhanced by the absence of a television, putting the emphasis in this space on face-to-face family time.
Rustic White Living Room With Blue and Red Accessories
Moving the dining area closer to the kitchen creates breathing room for this living room, while a floor-to-ceiling bookcase adds lots of vertical storage. The finished living room now has a new propane fire place, an old rustic American flag, and new chairs highlighted by blue pillows.
Coastal Living Room With Seashell-Wallpaper Accent Wall
The eye is drawn to an indented panel in the wall covered with black-and-white seashell-patterned wallpaper. A circular mirror adds a brightening effect over the wallpaper that matches the sunny, bright look of the white room. Patterned pink and blue throw pillows decorate the light blue sectional curved around a brass coffee table.
High ceilings, clerestory windows and white walls create an airy sense of openness in this modern living room. A large sectional provides seating for a crowd, and wood-framed glass doors allow access onto the patio.
Bright Living Room With Built-In Window Seat and Blue Accents
This transitional living room features a gorgeous built-in window seat with a blue cushion and several decorative pillows. Neutral curtains and wood plank walls frame the seat, while the rest of the living room features neutral furniture, blue accents and a sisal rug, giving the space a coastal vibe.
As a result of flood damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri from HGTV's "Cousins On Call" rebuilt the Miller family's living room. With new modern furniture from West Elm, the contemporary living area became a cozy and inviting space.
Two-Tone Living Room Walls Around Neutral Sofa, Layered Glass Coffee Table and Patterned Curtains
Two-toned walls set the tone for the gray and white color scheme of this living room. A graphic area rug and classic curtains bring a beautiful pattern pairing to compliment the solid neutral sofa and solid gray chairs. A layered glass coffee table keeps the center of the rug looking light while adding easily adjustable storage.
Chic, Open Living Room Features Strong Geometric Shapes
The open floor design of this modern living room and dining room plays heavily with daring geometric shapes. Wenge wrapping the walls and ceiling creates the geometric idea of a cube over the dining room while details like the X-based coffee table and cubed side table unify the design within the details. Softer textures like a silk area rug and leather and upholstered sofas soften the space to highlight the peaceful living environment.
Contemporary Apartment Living Room Is Sleek Yet Personalized
A black, white and gray color scheme keeps with the contemporary feel of this apartment living room while adding sophistication to the space. Sleek shelving surrounding the TV displays carefully curated art and decor, making the room feel personalized and homey.
Vacation Home Living Room Features Tones, Materials Reminiscent of Nearby Beach
The natural materials and colors in the furniture, rug and window coverings create a serene setting in this beach house living room. Brightly colored accent chairs add a punch of fun, just as a beach umbrella and chairs might add to the natural tones of the nearby sand and surf.
