The owner of this house was anxious for a space in which she could entertain, so an open concept kitchen was a must. While the kitchen design left her with an open feel, the homeowner needed more space to prepare food, so an oversized island with a prep sink was built in the middle of the space. The island has a breakfast bar which provides extra seating and a perfect place to entertain.
The farmhouse-inspired kitchen has a large irregular-shaped island with barstool seating at one end. Rustic stone, the same used on the house's exterior, creates a beautiful focal wall around the wood-fire oven.
