Bold Orange and Gray Boys' Bedroom With Rustic Reclaimed Wood Wall
This eclectic boys bedroom features two twin beds positioned against a rustic reclaimed wood paneled wall. Orange and gray bed linens dress the beds, while black and whir zebra print pillows add a fun touch. A framed insect print and glass sconce hangs above each of the beds.
Bright orange walls breathe new life into this traditional style dining room, giving it a fresh, contemporary look. An eclectic mix of furniture and decor exudes a playful, casual vibe. Turquoise tile fireplace surround mimics the natural colors of the ocean depicted in the painting leaning on the mantel.
Two orange-tufted, high-back chairs sit against a window with white drapes. A blue throw is on the seat of one chair and a blue floral pillow is on the other chair. A small, white table is positioned between the chairs and used to display a lovely bouquet of orange tulips.
Bright Orange Kirchen With Concrete Countertops and Floating Shelves
The industrial, concrete countertop is extended until it floats above the floor. The visual effect is continued up the wall with laminated veneer lumber floating shelves. The colorful walls pop in contrast and make the room feel vibrant and exciting.
An unexpected orange creates a bright and colorful guest bedroom. Complementary blue is used in the artwork, bedding and accessories for contrast, and the sleigh daybed brings a touch of traditional to the eclectic space.
Eclectic Residence Coincides With California Hillside
With an eye toward the surrounding hills of northern California, this truly iconic residence uses a unique series of domes to mimic the natural landscape. Descending stone steps lead guests to the front entrance, while the bright orange and purple exterior serves as a testament to the home's bold eclectic style.
Just a few inches from the glider is a stowed-away Murphy bed. Originally, its exterior was covered in a red-toned wood laminate, something too adult and too formal for a nursery. By updating it with custom vinyl wallcovering in the same palette as the room's decor, it now fits in perfectly, blending in with the other design elements.
The bright orange recessed wall that anchors this living area is repeated in other elements: leather barstools, painted stripes, small accessories. A spiral staircase adds to the mix of styles and colors.
