A second view of the kitchen shows how the new appliances were incorporated into the space. Dark wood paneling behind the refrigerator and microwaves contrasts against all the white used in cabinetry and countertop. The double hood was selected for its maximized function, as well as for its modern and sculptural look. We love how the circular design contrasts against the linear and angular finish to the rest of the kitchen.
Gray and white striped tiles cover the floor, bathtub surround and the entire shower, adding visual appeal to the minimalist design. A delicate, purple chandelier hangs above the bathtub to bring additional style and a pop of color to the space.
The open layout created an inviting and spacious environment for a large living room and dining room.The overall color palette was kept neutral, emphasizing various warm tones including taupe, stone, beige and ivory. These colors were used on accent items including the silk wallcovering, area rug and pillows.
Compared to his sisters' rooms, this boy's room was cooler in tone with slate wall covering, gray wall paint and shades of blue decor.
One of the client's main concerns was both storage and displaying his collection of toy cars. KIS Interior Design incorporated acrylic cubes and shelves that properly display the toys in a modern and unique aesthetic. The acrylic finish does not distract from the wall covering behind and creates a playful "floating" look.

The side tables and coffee table are round and allow for flow of movement against the strong right angles of the gray and red contemporary sofas and the media cabinet.
