The younger daughter Catalina's room was designed to be delicate and appropriate for her age. The warm neutral tones were paired with shades of pink, her favorite color, for a vibrant and feminine space.
The spatial layout for the younger daughter's room was very small and odd compared to the others. As a solution to make the room functional and chic, a twin size bed was tucked into the corner with the night stand placed at its end. To give the nightstand a sense of purpose, a delicate chandelier pendant hangs above. A small seating for two gives the daughter the opportunity to finish her homework, spend time with a friend and play inside her room.
Wood beams at the ceiling and sloping walls give this rustic bedroom the cozy feeling of being tucked in at night. A wide window set into a niche provides a spot for a chaise longue, creating a great spot for reading and bringing in ample natural light.
Warm woods pair with a cool palette of gray, turquoise and yellow to create an inviting, comfortable bedroom. Distressed wood is used for the nightstand and bed, creating a striking contrast against the clean white linens.
The older daughter's room was designed trendy and modern with a lot of custom elements. A custom drywall panel was added to create an accent element and finished with a black and white patterned wallcovering. The rest of the room was kept white with chrome accents and shades of purple throughout.
In addition to the custom accent panel, the opposite wall was renovated into a functional custom piece. A desk with ample shelving was niched into the wall and a large mirror sliding door conceals the closet space.
The master bedroom was converted into a luxurious, serene haven with leading furnishings and finishes. The color palette was kept consistent with the rest of the apartment by incorporating the same accent satin wallcovering and pairing it with matching decorative curtains. A light wood floor was used in this space for a modern beach-like feel that is softer than the marble in the rest of the apartment. A white area rug partnered with a lush, upholstered beach frame and modern white nightstands. Tom Dixon chrome pendants added a hint of glimmer and just the right amount of accent light.
This master bedroom expertly employs French Country accents to soften the heavier wood trim of the ceiling and windows. Identical mirrors, ornate lamps and distressed nightstands balance the queen bed on either side, while the floor-length windows elongate and brighten the overall space.
Using decorative, sculptural white elements can help take the focus off of pieces not meant to stand out. In this case, an assortment of handmade ceramic sculptures is placed in front of a flat-panel TV.
This minimalistic white master bedroom features a floor-to-ceiling natural wood closet for stowing away clothing and other items. Light hardwood floors and interior windows allow the space to appear open and bright, while a duvet with a tree branch design adds a Zen-like touch.
The fireplace in this charming guest room already had a bird motif on it, so the designers used that as inspiration for the rest of the design. They chose a Turkish Suzani print for the duvet cover and mirrored the branch and tree idea with the table lamp.
This boys' bedroom, designed with a safari theme, is perfect for the little explorer. And its simple black, white and yellow color theme can easily move in a different direction when the child gets older.
Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in tons of natural light to this contemporary master bedroom. A sleek chaise lounge is perfect spot to enjoy the views, while an upholstered bed dressed in comfortable white linens makes for a relaxing retreat.
