Midcentury Modern Master Bedroom Vignette
In the master bedroom, designers created several seating vignettes like this one with a funky, modular chair and a gilt floor lamp and side table to provide cozy places to relax within the master bedroom. This particular vignette takes advantage of the apartments beautiful city views.
In the master bedroom, the wall on which the bed rests is covered in a gorgeous, metallic silver grass cloth that conceals the hidden door to the closet. Above the mirrored, four-poster bed, a brass chain link chandelier makes a bold statement, while rich texture was added with black faux fur pillow shams and blanket at the food of the bed. To personalize the space even further, designers had a modern, monogram printed on metallic linen.
This master bedroom is fit for royalty with its extravagant furnishings and gold and white color scheme that produces an updated Victorian style. From floor to ceiling, wall to window, the presentation is stunning beyond words.
Two chaise longues covered in a sumptuous silver velvet offer a fabulous spot to read or relax in this New Jersey bedroom. Lines carved into a floor-to-ceiling mirror echo the lines of a custom headboard upholstered in gold.
Eclectic Master Bedroom With Foil Wallpaper and Magazine Art
As seen on HGTV's House Hunters on Vacation, this South Beach penthouse's master bedroom shows its style with contemporary yet somewhat eclectic furnishings. The silver foil wallpaper is a perfect backdrop to showcase the artistic homage to "Couture." The pop of violet in the bed linens also give the room a stylish edge, along with its satin accompaniments.
This serene master bedroom pairs neutral tones with gray and gold accents, as seen in the gray and gold upholstered headboard, gold patterned bolster pillow and soft gray throw. A wooden bench sits at the foot of the bed, while two nightstands with glass lamps are positioned on either side of the bed.
Rather than extend the beach theme colors in the rest of the home into the master bedroom, designer Guillaume Gentet decided to use luxurious silver tones, pattern and organic shapes, making the space feel calming and serene. A cozy upholstered armchair with a matching ottoman provides a nice spot to relax and enjoy a book. A piece of blue coral adorns the end table by the armchair, adding a subtle beach-inspired detail to the room.
