Oriental Panels and Red Details Create a Bold Master Bedroom Design
Unique was what the homeowner was looking for in the design of her apartment, so designers created a headboard out of rare Oriental panels. Then, they pulled the cherry hues out of the frame with the bold, red details on and around the bed, like the lamp shades and the pillows.
In the hall opposite the stairs, designers paired a bold, funky patterned wallpaper with a rich dresser and gold details. The dresser anchors the design, while the gold details add a bit of pizzaz as well as connecting this space to the design of the rest of the house.
Floral curtains and fresh flowers add a feminine touch to this eclectic master bedroom, while metallic pieces, like this dresser, serve as stand-out pieces in an otherwise tranquil design scheme. Dark hardwood floors provide a sharp contrast to the dreamy hand-painted blue and white ombré walls.
Light-Filled Eclectic Master Bedroom With Canopy Bed
A towering canopy bed draws you into this master bedroom, and the lofty layering of bedding invites you to stay. A generous sprinkling of details completes the eclectic space: groupings of framed artwork, a pair of tufted ottomans and an antique chest standing in for a nightstand.
Artwork and Vintage Dresser in Jet Black Master Bedroom
To add some fun, bold color to the master bedroom, designers brought in a piece of artwork that was created with drippings from melted crayons. They hung this unique piece above a vintage, 1930s black dresser with copper pulls. Both of these pieces pop against the jet black walls of the master bedroom.
Soaring ceilings, covered in beadboard and painted white, capture the farmhouse spirit which inspired the design of this bedroom. Floaty white canopy bed curtains, white built-ins and washed out wood floors enhance the open, airy feel of the space. An aubergine-colored quilt and patterned oatmeal-hued rug ground the space.
The simple addition of floor-to-ceiling drapes changed the entire personality of the master bedroom, not to mention that they allowed natural light to pour into the space. Designer Debbie Perez simplified the accessories, leaving a few Asian-inspired pieces, to create a polished, coordinated whole.
The master suite in this fun, whimsical and eclectic family home features a black and white, polka-dotted accent wall that turns the bed into a focal point. All other walls are white, allowing the wallpaper and the bright mix of fabrics and accessories to pop. A clawfoot tub in the adjoining bath gives a nod to the period of the house.
Light and Bright Master Bedroom With Purple and Green Accents
This eclectic master bedroom features light gray walls paired with purple and green accents, like the bedside lamps and two ottomans at the foot of the bed. A white vintage mirror adds a timeless touch, while a striped area rug and hardwood floors finish the look of the space.
