Wanting to visually separate the client's dining room and master bedroom, Human used bold prints to create two distinct spaces. Thus, black polka dots give way to indigo scallops. A red popcorn machine in the corner of the room offers a touch of whimsy.
Like the master bath, the master bedroom sticks close to the design of the couple's eclectic home, but takes a more soothing approach. Bold, Bright Bed Linens in Eclectic Master Bedroom
In the master bedroom, designers took advantage of the natural light that spilled in from the sliding glass doors that provide patio access by choosing a neutral color for the walls that reflects that light and anchors the space. Then, fun colored bed linens were placed on the bed to give the room a little personality and bold pops of color, while the geometric rug beneath the bed helps to break the space up and give it some definition. Finally, designers added an Asian inspired headboard and industrial nightstands with bright orange table lamps to finish off the eclectic space.
Bed linens, window curtains and an area rug demonstrate an array of color and pattern in the master bedroom. A solid, dark wood canopy bed and stark white walls allow the multiple patterns to work together in a stylish and seamless way.
