Stone Double Fireplace in Contemporary Master Bedroom
A double-sided stacked stone fireplace is a stunning focal point in the center of this elegant master bedroom. Comfortable chairs sit on one side for a cozy seating area, while a platform bed is situated between picturesque windows with beautiful views.
A whimsical mobile in primary hues adds a splash of color to this serenely neutral nursery. The simple white crib is highlighted by a variety of patterns, from the wallpaper to the pillows and bedding.
Whimsical wallpaper by Makelike sets the tone for this gender-neutral nursery and provides an interesting backdrop to the crib. A contemporary dresser provides much-needed storage, while small notes of color, like the mobile and table lamp, brighten the space.
Tucked in a cozy little nook is a streamlined white crib with beautiful soft green-and-white wallpaper as the backdrop. Contemporary sconces add light to the space, while floating shelves display favorite stuffed animals.
White blackout curtains are perfect for creating a serene nighttime environment even for the middle-of-the-day nap. For this nursery's reading nook, a fun hanging chair pairs with a bright yellow pouf.
Contemporary Bedroom With Taupe Upholstered Accent Wall
A padded accent wall with taupe upholstery serves as the headboard and backdrop for the bed in this contemporary bedroom. Neutral bedding and a soft beige armchair blend beautifully with the accent wall, while dark brown accents bring richness and depth to the palette.
Contemporary Blue Hues Carry From Headboard to Pillows
Though defined by white walls and neutral accents, this master bedroom certainly doesn't shy away from a little color and pattern. Here, indigo throw pillows accentuate the royal blue of the upholstered headboard, while a patterned bench adds subtle movement to the foot of the bed.

Walls of Windows in White, Contemporary Bedroom
The bed in this contemporary bedroom is angled to absorb the rugged desert terrain through vast picture windows. The secluded Reno, Nevada, home is situated on seven acres in an exclusive gated community. A white, waffle-weave coverlet is simple, drawing attention to the exotic Danish mahogany floors.
This design plays with dark, moody colors and lots of texture. The look is kept simple by keeping the pallet neutral with just a pop of color in the red carpet. A sculptural gold mirror over the bed adds a dash of drama and acts as a sort of foal point in the room. Graphic wallpaper resembles dripping paint creating a beautiful accent wall behind the bed and nightstands and leaves the window wall looking bright and fresh.
Modern construction can often feel austere and uninviting — the homeowners wanted to shift that dynamic, but ensure the space still felt minimalist. Earthy hues, organic elements and selected antiques are incorporated for maximum impact, resulting in a space that feels warm and inviting, but also clean and edited.
A shelving system built into the wall is a brilliant way to display items while saving floor space in a small home or apartment. As seen on HGTV’s Design on a Dime, this bedroom was given a masculine Moroccan style with plush throw pillows, warm gray walls and a bed upholstered in a rich, colorful print.
A tufted sleigh bed is accented by a pair of Mid-Century-inspired table lamps in this contemporary guest room. Wallpaper on an accent wall adds depth to the space, while sheer curtains filter light from the massive steel window.
