This double vanity master bathroom features a large freestanding bathtub positioned in front of a louver window, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. A dark brown wooden vanity is positioned on either side of the tub, while neutral tile floors finish off the look of the space.
Stretch your design budget with discounted tile. Atlanta designer Karina Souki Bryant recommends finding a discontinued tile on sale. Often stores will only have a few boxes of discounted tile, but if you collect multiple boxes from more than one location, you can get the tile you need for a much lower price tag. Bryant suggests asking a store associate to check the supply at other store locations to make sure you’re making a good choice. The gray glass tile in Bryant’s contemporary bathroom, which was built by Imery Group, was on discount at a builder's supply store.
Minimalistic, Modern Powder Room With Textured Wallpaper
Every detail in this minimalistic bathroom has a big impact: From the wood paneling and textured wallpaper that add depth to the sleek, smooth space to the tiny orange tea towel that adds a bright pop of color to the neutral palette. Meanwhile, the sink and vanity seem to float; playing into the home's weightless design concept.
The 2' 4" x 5' 4" shower stall in the master bathroom of HGTV Urban Oasis 2013 is clad floor to ceiling in a mix of tumbled marble and glass mosaic tile. A window, carved into the wall, provides views into the master bedroom and through windows beyond.
The master bathroom was kept all white, clean and refreshing for a modern appeal. Glass partitions were incorporated into the shower and continued into the toilet area for a seamless look.
The original bathroom was completely dark, traditional and outdated. All surfaces including flooring, tub sides, countertop, glass partitions and ceiling were completely renovated for a new and bright space. A brass, modern pendant was added for a contrasting yet chic touch and to tie in the dark wood cabinetry.
A pebble accent wall runs above the toilet and continues to the floor in the powder room. The single vanity features a thick countertop with a long, linear sink and cabinet space underneath for storing hand towels, soap and toiletries.
Glass storage jars let toiletries with interesting shapes or textures become part of the decor. In a space-saving move that doesn't scrimp on luxury, the soaking tub fits neatly inside the walk-in shower area.
This modern powder room features a white pedestal sink positioned in front of a wall with light blue and white floral wallpaper. Two metallic sconces frame an etched decorative mirror, while chrome fixtures finish off the look of the space.
The mirror reflection of the chrome fittings creates a sculptural element and an interesting side profile of this bathroom sink and faucet. Contest entry for National Kitchen and Bath Association People's Pick 2014.
Beach House Master Bathroom with Honed Marble Double Vanity
Sophisticated and soothing, the double vanity area in this master bathroom, features honed marble countertops. Open shelves provide storage for towels along with adding a contemporary feel. Uniquely shaped mirrors open to reveal medicine cabinets.
The powder room was kept simple, but not lacking design. The white floors and white cabinetry contrasts against the same taupe wallcovering used in the living room accent wall. The larger layout proved to be a challenge to balance between simple and articulated design. A pebble accent tile was used along the toilet wall and seamlessly down the floor for a sleek visual detail.
