Eclectic Bathroom Features Gold, Black & White Accents
With a mostly black and white color palette, this eclectic bathroom features pops of gold to add a glamorous feel to the space. A gold globe pendant light hangs above the sleek black and white bathtub, while gold curtains offer privacy from the tall windows. A lucite table paired with a black upholstered chair provides a spot for getting ready when the vanity is unavailable.
If Snow White had her own bathroom today, it would probably look like this. Modern features are contrast against captivating woodland elements to create a masterpiece bathroom. No one can argue that soaking in this stunning tub would be a dream come true.
Polished concrete floors and a wood paneled ceiling set the tone for an intriguing design in this master bathroom. Exposed plumbing adds an industrial vibe, while a freestanding tub lends classic charm.
A common trick of the trade is to juxtapose modern shapes with more classic ones — which is what Dallas-based designer Elaine Williamson did when she chose these mod, Jonathan Adler fixtures to counterbalance the elegant sophistication of a bathroom's carrera marble countertops. The mirror works as a mix between the two styles — mod with sophisticated lines.
The counter in this eclectic powder room is a unique epoxy-coated finish topped off by a piece of natural granite. The floors are a rustic wood-like tile, both practical and perfect for the treehouse-theme of the home.
A funky, carrot-inspired art piece stands beside the small floating vanity in this magenta bathroom. A large mirror reflects the bathroom's patterned accent wall, making it the focal point of the space.
The homeowner loves florals, so designer John McCain uses wallpaper of giant red and pink watercolor-style flowers for the downstairs powder room. The floating vanity features traditional trimwork and a marble countertop.
Eclectic Bathroom With Blue Vanity and Patterned Wallpaper
Patterned blue and white wallpaper surrounds this single vanity bathroom. A blue vanity with dark stone counters provides extra storage space with a shelf underneath the sink. Slim white sconces flank the vanity mirror, providing soft lighting for this colorful room.
Though designer Sarah Richardson prefers to use neutral hues in most spaces, a tiny powder room is the ideal spot to go bold. Here, she combined bird-patterned wallpaper, overscaled French lighting and a shell mirror to create a fun, eclectic space.
Being ardent Scuba Divers, the clients requested that their show stopping powder room be a true reflection of their marine expeditions! To create the illusion of flowing water, the designer installed a tile with an aquatic pattern, which when put together created the desired cascading effect. Anchoring this set-up is a dark-stained cherry slab panel door cabinet that hides the plumbing.
