As seen on season 1 of Sarah Sees Potential, designer Sarah Richardson surprised her clients with a bonus master bedroom makeover. She eliminated an unnecessary hallway and fourth bedroom to allow extra room for the master bath, master bedroom and a luxurious walk-in closet.
Patterns, textures, colors, styles and unique design items mix to create a bedroom with one-of-a-kind charm. The clock made out of a fan is whimsical and industrial, while a knitted chartreuse throw pillow feels homey and bright. The spectacular and simple headboard is made from slightly unaligned planks of wood.
This nursery for singer Nick Carter's son features industrial style wooden shelves that are perfect for displaying keepsakes, like baby blocks and framed photos. Underneath is a neutral sofa with decorative throw pillows and a built-in trundle bed. Soft-hued hot air balloon wallpaper provides a fun accent.
To create flexibility in the children's area, a sliding door subdivides the space for nighttime and nap time, creating two separate bedroom spaces, each with its own entrance. During the day, though, parents can keep the space open, creating a great big playroom for the kids.

To create more light in the space, the Good Bones team, Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak, added two new windows in the reclaimed wood accent wall. This not only gives the space a focal point, but also allows more natural light into the space, making it feel bright and open. To add to the elegant, industrial design the team was going for, they added black and white artwork, a metal headboard, brown bed linens and dark end tables and lamp shades. To tie the space together and give it a pop of color, a green shag carpet adds comfort to this elegant, industrial master bedroom.
The brick accent wall and exposed steel pipe draw attention to the back of this industrial master bathroom. Contemporary white accents evoke a sense of harmony along the way, gently balancing the sleek silver fixtures and dark wood floating vanity.
On the way out the door, designers added an oversized, leaning mirror to provide greater function in this master space. Not only does it allow for the perfect place to check your outfit before leaving, this mirror adds drama and depth to the rustic industrial master bedroom.
